Foster Pettit
Foster Pettit is a solo musician from San Antonio, Texas. His music draws from slowcore and lo-fi indie rock with influences that recall the independent and alternative rock of the 1990s and early 2000s. His songwriting is particularly distinctive in its attention to detail, combining intricate guitar arrangements with subtle harmonic shifts and an understated approach to composition. There's a certain familiarity to his music, but his approach to writing gives it a character of its own. Following Good Luck in 2022 and Forgetter in 2024, Foster released his third album Half Truth in 2026 through Vulgar Records. Across nine tracks, the album reflects on relationships and the challenges of growing older while continuing the personal songwriting found throughout his earlier work. We're excited to be working alongside Foster and Vulgar Records as Rite Field Records takes on the physical release and distribution of Half Truth.
