- How does this work?
- Use the Last.fm search to find songs and send us your picks. We review every submission and may add selected tracks to our current YouTube playlist.
- Why do we use Last.fm?
- Last.fm gives us a simple way to search for artists and songs. You can also use a public Last.fm username to choose from recent listening without entering a password here.
- Why is the playlist on YouTube?
- YouTube is widely accessible and lets us include official audio, music videos, live sessions, and independent uploads in one playlist.
- Why not Spotify or another DSP?
- We wanted the project to reach beyond a single streaming service or subscription. Last.fm can reflect listening across different platforms, while YouTube gives us more flexibility without requiring every listener or artist to use the same DSP.
- Do I need an account?
- No account is needed to search by artist or song. A public username is only needed if you choose My Last.fm to view your recent listening.
- Are submitted songs automatically added?
- No. We review every submission before deciding whether it fits the playlist. Sending a song does not guarantee placement or a reply.
- Is playlist placement paid?
- No. We do not charge artists to submit or be considered for the playlist.
