While many records explore moving on, Holloway's debut EP focuses on the experiences that come before these transitions. Formed in late 2025 after Cliffmore disbanded, the Dallas–Denton five-piece draws from 1990s emo and indie rock. Their songs reflect on lasting connections to people, places, and moments. The band released its first single, Girl You Are, in March 2026, followed by the six-track EP Not Knowing Is a Good Place to Start in August. While the music may sound familiar, the experiences behind it are unique to the group. With a full-length album forthcoming on Rite Field Records, Holloway continues to develop its artistic narrative. These first six songs mark only the start of their creative journey.
